**Change the weather, move the camera, or introduce a character while a generated scene keeps unfolding.** Google DeepMind’s October 27 Genie 4 demonstration combines explorable visuals with ambient sound, music and responsive dialogue.

Keyboard controls guide navigation; text prompts change what happens. The creative possibility is a scene you can rehearse and redirect before committing to a shoot or building a game prototype.

DeepMind describes recordings of real-time interaction. These remain selected demonstrations: details and object permanence can drift, especially during longer sessions or complex edits, and realistic-looking physics is not a guarantee of accurate simulation.

**Access is currently a research preview for trusted testers.** Wider access through Project Genie and selected developer partners is planned; this is not a public playable game today.
