**Make a crowd of skeletons dance with your mouse—or leave them to improvise.** Spooky Bones, by **shapiro500 / u/shapirog**, is a browser toy you can put on a party screen or project onto a window.

The maker used Codex to help build the animation and keep the crowd manageable on phones. The first mathematical dance patterns looked too smooth, so they added a recorder for hand-performed moves and used those examples to shape the procedural dancing. Crowd members follow with small time offsets. Leave the controls alone for five seconds and auto-dance takes over, complete with ridiculous move names.
