Zoom from the whole of Greater London down to a familiar street. **Boris Starkov's Tiny London** redraws the city as a sprawling isometric pixel-art map, with searches for places, stations and postcodes.

The making-of is as interesting as the view: Gemini produced training examples from 3D map renders, a fine-tuned Qwen image model learned the style, and Claude Code helped build and run the pipeline. Shared image generation across overlapping regions tackles the seams that normally give tiled AI pictures away.

It is an **artistic map**. The author also documents invented landmarks on water, repairs, and two deliberately retained artifacts—including a stray Big Ben in a reservoir.
