Marble Marvell adds mouse controls and an experimental mobile trackball
Roll a marble around narrow courses, using momentum to survive corners and gaps. Chilko’s free browser tribute to Marble Madness began as a one-week experiment: an experienced game designer directing AI-assisted code, graphics, sound and text.
The October 27 update adds mouse/controller support, revised handling and a touchscreen trackball you flick to accelerate and hold to brake. Online score submission uses an itch.io account; playing does not require signing in.
The original game arrived September 28. Mobile controls remain experimental, and an earlier Chromebook player reported severe performance problems. The update lists optimizations, but that is not proof the reported device is fixed.
