HackerBooks: browse books people mention, with the original conversations attached hackerbooks.org

HackerBooks turns years of book mentions into a browsable shelf, with links back to the conversations behind each title. Its maker, roansh, says Claude wrote almost all of the site and data pipeline; the human steered the work and made the decisions.

The November 1 launch includes books mentioned by at least two different commenters, and makes the data downloadable for your own exploration.

A mention is not a recommendation: criticism counts too. Readers also found mistaken authors and magazine references matched to books. The original comments are the useful part—check them before treating a high position as an endorsement.
