Play Glider in your browser: an AI-assisted port of the classic Mac game
Fly a paper aeroplane through a house, ride warm air, and avoid the furniture. John Calhoun’s 1991 Macintosh game now has an unofficial browser port by dbohdan, including the Room Editor for making your own houses.
The picture is the developer’s comparison of the port with the original running on an emulated Mac Plus. The project translates the released Pascal source into TypeScript and recreates the Mac services it needs. Its documentation describes a human directing the work, Claude Opus 5.5 implementing it, and both contributing to design.
Keyboard, mouse, gamepad and touchscreen controls are supported. The original creator welcomed the release and singled out the included editor.
