WorldTUI: a tiny model imagines a terminal, one keypress at a time
Type pythoon and you might still get a Python prompt.
In Simon Edwardsson's WorldTUI, a 360-million-parameter model predicts how the screen changes after each keypress. The apparent files, editor and commands are part of the simulation. There is no real shell behind them.
This 65-second creator demo accompanies the October 21 build account. The interactive version runs locally in a browser after a 208 MB download and needs WebGPU; desktop Chrome or Edge is recommended. Its memory and command handling can fail, which is part of what makes it an interesting experiment.
