Watch a tiny neural network write Korean, one pen stroke at a time
Choose a Korean phrase and watch the pen move. Jonathan Baudanza’s hangul.ink generates handwriting stroke by stroke, including changes in pressure, entirely in your browser.
He trained the model on about 4,500 lines written with a smartpen by Jo YW. It produces new pen movements each time, rather than selecting a font. The demo includes sample phrases with English translations, so you can try it without knowing Korean.
Some characters still come out wrong. The image is a generated sample from the live demo.
