Drag a falling rainbow sheet and watch it pile into glossy folds. Three.js creator Ricardo Cabello, aka mrdoob, shared Fold on November 3 as a Codevember experiment, crediting Codex in a correction to his original post.

The material is simulated cloth with a plastic-like finish; settings change its roughness, thickness and motion. It is an interactive rendering experiment, with approximations that can let tight folds intersect. Browser and GPU compatibility vary.
