Claude and Blender: a 3D mascot film built with Python
A little glowing-eyed mascot wanders across a keyboard and through a miniature world. For this one-minute film, u/InternationalGap3698 supplied a mascot image and asked Claude to build and animate the scenes.
The visuals are rendered 3D. The maker says Claude wrote Python for Blender's models, rig, lighting and camera moves, then used ffmpeg to assemble frames and sound. The starting image was AI-generated; the soundtrack came from online assets, rather than an AI music model.
The creator reports roughly eight hours of rendering on an RTX 5090. Other people have tried the posted prompt and reported mixed results: a useful glimpse of agent-assisted animation, rather than a promise of instant, repeatable filmmaking.
