Jointter: a daily word puzzle built from dots and missing lines jointter.com

A word is hidden in a diagram: all its dots are visible, but most connecting lines are missing. Spell a guess with the letter tiles; correct lines turn green and stay, helping you reconstruct the letters. You have five attempts.

Jointter’s maker wrote the puzzle algorithms in Python and used AI to help build the JavaScript, HTML and CSS interface. The dots’ starting positions deliberately reveal nothing; dragging them only tidies the drawing.

Players found the longer puzzles difficult to grasp. Monday’s three-letter board is the gentler starting point, and the site now includes a tutorial. No registration is required.
